Hattie N. Boatman, 91, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 6, 2003. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 9 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. David Cobb and B.J. Brown officiated.
Mrs. Boatman was born Oct. 23, 1912 in Overton County, the daughter of Tom and Fannie Breeding.
She was a retired factory worker and a member of Duncans Chapel Freewill Baptist.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Boatman of Smithville and Robert Boatman of Monterey; daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Bethel Whitaker of Smyrna, GA; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Rodney Breeding, Tommy Breeding, Dean Buckner, Randall Vaughn, Justin Allen and Brandon Ellerbee.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
