Clark was the son of Cripps and Emma (Knutson) Breed.
He was married to Ione Lucille Slayton on Feb 10, 1932 in Bloomer, Chippewa Co, WI. They later divorced.
He married second, Laura E Gillett, on Jun 1, 1951, in Chicago, Cook Co, IL.
Clark served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II.
CHETEK -- Clark H Breed, 80, passed away Friday, Sept 4, 1992, at his home in rural Chetek.
He was born June 1, 1912, in New Auburn to Cripps and Emma (Knutson) Breed. He was married to Laura E Gillett on June 1, 1951, in Chicago. He was a milk hauler and a veteran of World War II, where he served in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Chetek American Legion, Disabled Veteran's Association of Rice Lake and the Breed Family Association.
He is survived by his wife, Laura, of Chetek; five sons, Derald (Delcia) of Oregon City, Ore, Peter (Margaret) of New Auburn, Michael (Linda) of Weyerhaeuser, Clark (Linda) of Chetek and Robert of Chetek; one daughter, Robin (Randy) Bohl of Chetek; two brothers, Donald and Lester Breed, both of Rice Lake; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Frederick; two brothers, Harvey and Edgar Breed; two sisters, Pearl Breed and Rose Shipman; and one granddaughter, Michelle Breed.
Services will be at 11 am Monday, Sept 7, 1992, at United Methodist Church, Chetek, with Rev Earl Kammerud and Renee Breed officiating. Interment will be in the Twin Lakes Cemetery, Town of Sampson.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 pm Sunday, Sept 6, at Olson Funeral Home, Bloomer, and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
