Alden Homer Breece, 91, of Wetmore, CO passed away June 12, 2012 in Florence, CO. Alden was born January 18, 1921 in Wetmore to Homer L. and Nettie R. (Snow) Breece.
Alden was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII, and was awarded a Bronze Star. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Ann Hegler; she preceded him in death. Alden worked at CF&I, as a foreman for 33 years.
Mr. Breece is survived by his children and their spouses, nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; 3 sisters, one brother and his wife; and special friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Fred Breece; and sisters, Margaret Gray and Addie Trimble.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Holt Family Florence Historic Funeral Chapel in Florence, CO. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Wetmore, CO.
