Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 at an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Elizabeth "Lou" Breaux, the former Elizabeth Dugas, who passed away at 1:45 PM on Monday, June 30, 2008 at her residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.Reverend Monsignor Robie Robichaux, JCL, Pastor of St. Leo The Great Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the Funeral Services.
Survivors include her husband, Emery P. Breaux of Lafayette; one son, Russell J. Ancelet of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Nicole Ancelet and Steven Ancelet; two great grandchildren, Lars Curry of Dallas, Texas and Graham Ancelet of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anzly and Theola Touchet Dugas and one sister, Lorraine D. Brignac.
Mrs. Breaux was a native of Erath and a resident of Lafayette for sixty five years. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church until her recent illness. Lou Breaux was the owner of Lou's Beauty Shop in Lafayette for twenty five years. After retiring and closing her shop she worked part time for Barbara Brignac's Beauty Shop in Lafayette. She loved to travel and also enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
Pallbearers are Steven Ancelet, Barry Duplechin, Steve Caillier, Victor Kilcrist, Danny Thibodeaux and Connie Moran. Honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Credeur.
Martin & Castille - Lafayette, Louisiana was in charge of services.
