Edwin was born on May 2, 1928 in Vacherie, La.
He moved to St. Louis, Mo. in the late 1950's.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred A. Breaud Sr. and Elodie Abadie Breaud, wife Ruth Struck Breaud, brother Roy A. Breaud Sr., and sister Claire Breaud Schexnayder.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Hilda Babin Breaud of Vacherie, sister and brother-in-law Rosa and Lloyd Waguespack of Houston, Tx., a brother Alfred A. Breaud Jr. of Highland Village, Tx., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and was a salesman for many years. Edwin enjoyed wood working and was very skilled with his hands.
Visitation will begin at 9:30am until 11:00am on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie, La. with burial in the church cemetery.
