Bill John Breashears, age 77 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 9, 1927 at Rover Arkansas to the late John S. and Ola Brown Breashears. He retired from Arkansas State Police as a Highway Patrolman after 26 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Sue Banks Breashears.
Survivors are four sons and daughters-in-law, John "Sonny" and Brenda Breashears of Dardanelle, Banks and Debbie Breashears of Lonoke, Bobby and Anita Breashears of Russellville, Billy Breashears of Long Beach, CA, daughterand son-in-law Norma and Charles Ellis of Dardanelle, two brothers, Baxter Breashears of Russellville, Leroy Breashears of Russellville, two sisters, Mary Hunt of Bluffton, Jo Lofland of Little Rock; nine grandchildren and two great grandsons.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle. Internment was at Brearly Cemetery in Dardanelle.
Pallbearers were Russell Ellis, Ed Warren, Mitchell Emberson, Terry Adas, Gary Gray and Nick Gault.
