Calvin P. Bream, aged 90 year. died of infirmities Monday morning at 10:15 o'clock at the home of his son-in-law. and daughter. Mr. and .Ira Biesecker, near Orrtanna.
Mr. Beam a son of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Slaybaugh) Bream, was born in Cumberland township at the former Black Horse tavern. He was engaged in milling for a number of years at Bream's mill on Marsh creek, and later took up farming on the Bream farm, near Fairfield: Since his retirement from active farming 26 years ago, Mr. Bream had resided in Fairfield and for the last several years with, his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife 15 years ago.
Mr. Bream was twice married, his first wife being Miss Wolf. Later he married Miss Katherine Rudisill
He was a member of the Zion's Lutheran church, of Fairfield and served on the church council 35 years.
Surviving are four daughters and sons. The children to his first wife are Mrs. Ivan Musselman. of Coleta, Illinois; Mrs. Ira Biesecker, with whom he resided; Harry Bream, of Grantville and John C. Bream, of Gettysburg R. D. Of his second marriage the following children survive: Mrs. John E. Brown, of Fairfield, and Mrs. George Kahl of Hagerstown; Rev. Harvey C. Bream, of Buffalo, New York, and Ellis J. Bream and Roy W. Bream, both of near Fairfield. Thirty-five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one brother. R. William Bream Springs avenue, Gettysburg, also survive.
Funeral services Thursday afternoon. meeting at the Biesecker home at 1:30 o'clock with further services in Zion's Lutheran church Fairfeild, the Rev. Charles M. Coffeit officiting. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery, Gettysburg
