Jessie B. Billheimer, age 77, of Bloomington, died at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood Friday April 11, 2008.
Born June 29, 1930, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Dr. John R. & Bernice (Havens) Brayton.
Jessie was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church, a former Volunteer for Crossroads Rehabilitation of Indianapolis, Girls Scouts, and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She attended P.S. 76 and Shortridge H.S., graduated from Tudor Hall H.S. in 1948, she attended Katherine Gibbs School in Chicago and graduated from Butler University in 1952.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James C. Billheimer of Nashville; daughters, Cindy Moore of Bloomington & Polly (Chuck) Snipes of Grand Prairie, TX; son, John B. (Penny) Billheimer of Ft. Worth, TX; and 5 grandchildren, Austin, Andrew, Alex, Sam, and Madison Billheimer, all of Ft. Worth.
She was preceded in death, in addition to the parents, by her brother, John R. Brayton, Jr.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
