Almeda Bray, 79, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, in Dallas.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. B.F. Risinger Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Burkholder, T.J. Burkholder, Thomas Dockery, Doug Turner, Michael Dockery and Mitchell Dockery.
Mrs. Bray was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Angus. She was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class, First Baptist Church and Navarro Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John David "Sonny" Bray; son, Danny Carl Bray; parents, Dewey and Clara Northern; and brothers, Donald Northern, Bill Northern and Bobby Northern.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Nanette Bray of Corsicana; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Tom Oliver of Corsicana; granddaughters, Davelyn Casbeer and husband Monty of Corsicana, Christene Oliver of Corsicana, Tonya Deren and husband Ron of Chatfield and Whitney McConnico and husband Clay of Lantana; grandsons, Jeremy Oliver and wife Mandy of Palmer, Jason Oliver of Corsicana, Joey Bray and wife Kathy of Nacogdoches, Danny Carl Bray Jr. of Arlington and Jeremy Bramall and wife Toni of Sunnyvale; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nephews; and sister, Jo Burkholder of Corsicana.
