Deborah Lynne Cheatwood Brawninger, 43, of Plymouth Lane, Carrollton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003 in an Atlanta hospital. She was born Oct. 24, 1959 in Carroll County and was a member of Lee's Chapel Methodist Church. Survivors include her parents, Doris Rooks Cheatwood and Jerry Cheatwood of Cedartown; sister, Sherry Todd, maternal grandmother, Thelma D. Rooks of Carrollton; paternal grandmother, Thelma Cheatwood Teate of Cedartown; two nephews and a number of other relatives. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 26 at the Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Donald Hubbard and Rev. John Miles officiating. Music was rendered by The Helton Sisters and Twyla. Interment followed in Carroll Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Tony Ashley, Gary Amhrein, Brian Smith, Matt Rooks, Chris Rooks, Chris Turner and David Rooks. Martin & Hightower Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. .
