BRISTOL, Va. Richard Robert Braun, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn. He was born in Newark, N.J. on Feb. 9, 1935, a son of the late Joseph F. Braun Sr. and Alicia Wood Braun. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Diana Braun; step-daughter, Fay Hill; two daughters; two sons; several grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one special great-granddaughter, Emma Hill. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the National Cemetery in Mountain Home, Tenn. Family and friends may call at the home of Fay Hill anytime. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Hill, Travis Hill, and Richard Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the family to help with final expenses.
