Leon D. Bratcher was born Nov. 26, 1919, in Fort Worth. He served his country during World War II and was honorably discharged in January 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcellus and Rosie Bratcher; wife, Audrey Bratcher; and uncle, the Rev. Fred Bratcher.
Survivors: Companion and caretaker, Maryland Hughes Scott; son, Leon D. Bratcher Jr.; stepson, Troy D. Scott; aunt, Mrs. Mamye Barrett of San Antonio; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.
