Lisa Kay Braswell Alford, 48, of Clarkston, formerly of Monroe, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011. Funeral services were Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, in the Monroe chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Robinson, Pastor Allen Whitley and Miss Kayce Jones officiating. Interment followed in Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe.
Mrs. Alford is survived by her husband, the Rev. Bruce Marcus Alford; stepchildren, Bruce Alford Ivery, Lawrence Alford and Diane Carol Alford, all of Atlanta; mother, Peggy Joyce [McCullers] Butler, of Covington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise and Toney Jones, Alice and Keith Jones and Sonya and Jeff Squires, all of Monroe; sisters-in-law, Carol Jean Alford and Ophelia Diane Gaines, both of Lancaster, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
