Louise Brassfield Boltz, 90, Raytown, Mo., died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Edgewood Manor in Raytown.
Mrs. Boltz was an elementary school teacher from 1935 to 1975 in Trenton, Grandview and Grain Valley, Mo., schools. She was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Vincil Brassfield Jr., of Fresno, Calif.

Louise is survived by her sister, Mary Ella Ray of Fairfield, Calif.; daughters, Zana Allen and Betty Sproul of Raytown; and son, Mike Boltz of Grain Valley. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, Greg Allen, Nancy Mayes, Jim Allen, Wendy Woodward, Eric Sproul, Teresa Boltz and Matt Boltz; and two great-grandchildren, Josie Woodward and Addie Woodward.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home, Trenton, Mo. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Trenton. Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Louise's name to Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church, Music Department, 5055 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. 64133.
