Mrs. Brantner, 92, formerly of Box 58, Williamsburg RD 1, died at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 1992, at Huntingdon County Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 9, 1900, in Mount Union, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Ellen J. (Hammond) Rhine. She married Charles F. Brantner on Feb. 24, 1920, in Williamsburg. He died March 24, 1980.
Surviving are a daughter, Viola J. Bennett of Williamsburg RD 1; a grandson, a great-grandson and a great-great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Brantner was a member of Cove Forge United Methodist Church, Williamsburg RD.
She wasa member of the Epworth Monor Volunteer Organization, Tyrone.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Bolger-Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Rev. Byron L. Stoud officiating. Interment at Yellow Springs Luthern Cemetery.
