PLYMOUTH - Garen Lee Brantley passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007. He was born June 4, 1960 to Clarence L. and Marsha N. Brantley in Blackwell, Okla. He married Debora A. Fernandez Feb. 11, 1991 in Miami, Okla.
Garen worked as a cowboy in Missouri, Oklahoma and Utah. He worked as a millwright at Amax Mining, Kennecott Copper and for ABC at Nucor. He was raised in the Catholic Faith. He loved life and had a wicked sense of humor.
Surviving are his wife, parents, five children: Nicole, Mathes, Jaclyn Brockes, Jessica Heiserman, Danielle Maples, David Haines, one brother, Allan and five grandchildren.
A Vigil Service was held Monday, Oct. 22, 2007 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home with Father Warren Schoeppe officiating. A celebration of Garen's life and refreshments was held at the Brantley residence.
Additional services will be held in Pawhuska, Okla., under the direction of McCartney's-Johnson Funeral Home.
