Life is a short span in our real life in eternity with God. We are always together with those that we love in eternity, our life here on earth is just a short assignment out of that eternity.
He has stepped out into eternity where we are all together and always have been and always will be. Forever joyous with our loved ones and our Lord.
Mike was very intelligent. He was an avid reader and seemed to remember everything he read. He was a devoted Christian and lay preacher for many years. He worked for the Railroad and took an early retirement due to his illness. He didn't have any grandchildren, at least not at the time of his death, but he made friends with all the kids in his neighborhood and even mentored some of them. He was one of the best story tellers I've ever heard. At family gatherings he was always asked to tell his stories to us and he never failed to make us laugh.
