Services for James Ervin Brantley, 76, of East Dublin, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene with burial in the the church cemetery. Rev. Janice Laster, Rev. Kenneth Hester and Rev. David Canen will officiate. Mr. Brantley died Thursday, June 28, 2007.

Mr. Brantley was born in Alma. He was the son of the late George Middleton Brantley and the late Eva Lee Irvin Brantley. He was a member of Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene and was a lifetime member of the

National Rifle Association. He served in the US Army for 8 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Middleton Brantley Jr. and a sister, Eva Mae Brantley. He was retired.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Sheppard Brantley of East Dublin; sons, James David Brantley of Statesboro and Richard (Dana) Brantley of East Dublin; daughter, Jeanne Brantley of Dublin; brothers, Grady Valene Brantley of Monument, Colorado and Eugene Talmadge Brantley of Waterford, CA; sister, Frances Brantley Turner of Alma and grandchildren, Clint (Kelli) Luecke, Nick (Brooke) Luecke, Eric (Tara) Luecke, Joshua Brantley, Brandon Brantley, Michael Carroll, Scott (Stephanie) Anderson, Amanda M. Brantley, Jamie Brantley and Melissa Anderson and eight great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Freddy Turner, Danny Turner, Jason Turner, Steve Graham, Sam Graham, Mike Mason, Kenny Underwood, and Ed Daniels.

The Men of the Church will serve as Honorary Escort.
