Mr. Brant was an aluminum inspector for Alcoa for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Masonic Lodge 123, and Eagles Lodge. His hobby was repairing lawn mowers.
Surviving are two sons, Larry A. Brant of Lafayette and Jerry C. Brant of Monon; his mother, Pauline M. McCaw of Lafayette; a sister, Betty (Mrs. Warren) Frazier of West Lafayette; and three grandchildren. Service Aug. 8, Landis-Loy & Wheeler Funeral Home; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
