Faye Arnold, 64, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care after a brief illness. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Perry Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jim Shipley officiating. Entombment will be in the Arnold Family Mausoleum in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2011, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. -Mrs. Arnold was born in Pinehurst to the late Hamp and Roselee Register Brannen. She grew up in Dooly County and has lived in Houston County for over 35 years. She worked as a Physical Therapist at Houston Medical Center and as a Respiratory Therapist at Perry Hospital. On several occasions, she was named Employee of the Month at Perry Hospital, where she retired after a total of 23 years of service to Houston Healthcare Complex. A former member of the Exchange Club of Perry, Mrs. Arnold was a member of Perry Presbyterian Church. A wonderful wife, mother, and "Gram", she touched and influenced many lives in sickness and in health through the years. A lady with a great sense of humor, Mrs. Arnold was a happy person, loving and caring for everyone else. She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. -Left to cherish the beautiful memories of "Gram" are her loving husband of 30 years, Larry Arnold of Warner Robins; her children, Rondal Jones, Jr. of Cochran, Robin J. Smith (Scott) of Perry, and Jason Arnold of Macon; her grandchildren, Kaylin Jones, Karly Jones, Conner Jones, Jessica Smith, Bailey Smith, Griffin Arnold, and Garrett Arnold; her brother, Billy Brannen of Dooling; her sister, Dolly Anne Sinyard (Mack) of Hawkinsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
