Services for Mary Estelle Brannen ALATALO, 66, of Burke, were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 6, at Ryan Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Bud Bonner and Rev. James Anderton officiating and burial in Ryan Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. ALATALO died Tuesday, September 4, in a Nacogdoches hospital.

She was a native and lifetime resident of the Burke Community. Mrs. ALATALO was formerly a bookkeeper for Childers Butane Co. and Cavanaugh-Peden Drug Store.

Her last employment was as nutrition site manager for the Burke Senior Citizens Center.

She was a member of the Ryan Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors: brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mae Dell BRANNEN; sister-in-law, Mary Ann BRANNEN; three nieces and two nephews who knew her as a sister; Brenda APPLEQUEST; Phyllis GORMAN, Debbie D'AMBROSIO, Jim BRANNEN and John BRANNEN.
