OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Florence Irene Brane, 100, of LaFontaine, Indiana, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 4:05am at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine. She was born November 7, 1907 in LeRoy, Illinois to Albert and Carolena (Diedrich) Razer.
She married Howard Brane on November 6, 1926; he died August 7, 1980. She was a telephone operator in LaFontaine several years and lived at Rolling Meadows since December 2005.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. (John) Simmons of LaFontaine; her son, John Paul (Pauline) Brane of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Joan Brane, and 2 sisters.
There will be no services. Burial will be in LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The preferred memorial is Rolling Meadows Activity Fund.
