Richard died at the age of 32. He was a long-time Veterinary technician for Niles Animal Hospital and the Animal Emergency of McHenry County. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Brandl Sr. He is survived by: His wife Shannon (Willer) Brandl, has a daughter Teia and his mother Phyllis D. Thomson. Also two sisters, Katherine Clemente and Diane McArdle.
