Survivors include a son, Robert J. (Ann M.) Jordan of Piqua; a daughter, Elizabeth Jordan of Page, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Nathan Jordan, Megan (Aaron) Carroll, Matthew Kerber, Christopher (Courtney) Kerber; four great grandchildren, Madison Carroll, Bela Carroll, Shelby Kerber, Hannah Kerber; a brother, Richard "Dick" (Gail) Brandewie of Piqua; four sisters, LaDonna Crist, Bernice Lewis, Marilyn (Jan) Hissong all of Piqua, Eunice (Don) Steuve of Dayton; brother and sisters-in-law, Don (Rita) Jordan, Marilyn Jordan, Clara Sowry all of Piqua, Margaret Hare of Versailles, Sue Short of Little Rock, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and many friends .
Pinky worked at Kroger Grocery in the late 1940's, Grissom's Grocery from 1970-1980, and retired from the Page Arizona City Schools in the late 1980's. Pinky and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping throughout the West in their motor home, wintering many years in the desert, and the mountains during the Summer. She was a graduate of Piqua Catholic High School, and active with Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Page, Ariz., and St. Mary Catholic Church, Piqua. Pinky will be missed by all of her family and friends in Ohio and Arizona, and well as friends from all over the United States and Canada with whom they traveled.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, July 7, 2007 in St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Grilliot as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm Friday in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home where a prayer service will be conducted at 5:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Broadway, Piqua, OH 45356.
