Miss Annie Eleanor Brandenburg was born in Frederick County on December 3, 1861 a daughter of George Martin and Minerva Warrenfeltz Brandenburg of the Valley and never married.

Annie died at her home in Rocky Springs where she shared a house with her sister Miss Josephine Lee Brandenburg after a illness of one week. She was 83.

Annie was a member of the Christ Evangelical Reformed Church, Middletown.

In addition to her sister Josephine, Annie is survived by three other sisters, Miss Emma C. Brandenburg, Lewistown; Mary Elizabeth Shafer and husband William Glessner, Petersville; Carrie Estelle Stone and husband Harry Garfield, Frederick and one brother, Clarence L. Brandenburg and wife Bessie Virginia.

Funeral services were conducted at M.R. Etchison Funeral Home with internment made in the Refomed Cemetery by Etchison funeral directors.
