Mrs. Barbara Jean Collins Branch, 83, widow of Charles William Branch died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her sister’s home after an illness.

Mrs. Branch was born November 16, 1932 in Mullins, a daughter of the late Albert Harvey Collins and the late Ruby McCord Collins. She was a retired librarian.

Surviving Mrs. Branch are two daughters, Terri (Jack) Matthews of Charlotte, NC and Vicki (Mike) McGinnis of Chattanooga, TN; a sister, Sandra Collins Rouse of Mullins; a granddaughter, Rett (Kevin) Liles; five grandsons, J.P. (Sheila) Matthews, III, Ryne (Mindy) Stewart, Taylor Stewart, Patrick (Jihan) McGinnis and Ryan (Megan) McGinnis; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, October 23, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Tranquil United Methodist Church, with Rev. Eddie Collier officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Entombment will be held Monday, October 24, at Frederick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Gaffney, SC.
