He was born April 8, 1918, in the town of Herman, a son of Anna Goedke Bramsteadt and the late Edwin Bramsteadt. On Oct. 24, 1936 he married Dolores Beeck at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Herman. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Philipines.
He owned and operated Vick’s Bar in the town of Wilson for the last 25 years.
He was a member of Wolf Olsen VFW Post No. 1230, and of the Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Wilson.
Survivors are his widow; two sons, Wayne of Route 3, Sheboygan, and Jeffrey at home; six daughters, Mrs. Mark (Karen Ann) Wickesberg of Cleveland, Mrs. James (Sharon) Udovich of Sheboygan, and Mary, Joyce, Debra and Joanne, all at home; four grandchildren and his mother, of Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Wilson, with the Rev. Arthur Anacker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Members of the WFW Post 1230 will hold a memorial service at the funeral home.
