Edwin William Bramstedt, 64, of 2806 S. 10th St., died Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Nicholas Hospital after suffering a stroke the day before. He had been ailing for the past 12 years.
Born Aug. 25, 1893, in Town Herman, the son of Henry and Augusta Bramstedt, he was baptized Sept. 24. 1893. by the Rev. F. L. Karth at Trinity Lutheran Church in Town Herman, and confirmed there on March 24, 1907.
On Dec. 1, 1917, he was married to Anna Goedeke, and they lived on the homestead farm for 31 years before moving to Sheboygan 11 years ago. He had been employed at the Electric Sprayit Co.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Victor, of Sheboygan; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Martin of Alpha, Minn., and Otto of Fond du Lac; three sisters, Mrs. August Kueter, Mrs. Martha Kalk and Mrs. Edwin Roehrborn, all of Town Herman. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Town Herman with the Rev. John Potratz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
