Funeral services for Mrs. A.W. (Veva) Bass, 74, of Findlay were held at 2:p.m. Friday, July 13, at the Rhea Funeral Home in Findlay. Burial was in the Findlay Cemetery.
Mrs. Bass died July 10, at her home. She was born April 24, 1899 in Moultrie County, a daughter of John and Rebecca Sharp Bragg, and married A. W. Bass July 31, 1933 in Louisville, Ill.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Carolee White of Findlay; son, Lt. Commander Gayle Bass of Pensacola, Fla.; one step-son, Roy Bass of Tulsa, Okla.; step-daughters, Mrs. Alice Bridges of Indianapolis and Jeanette Ascherman of Redlands, Calif.; brothers, John Bragg of East St. Louis, Osa of Sullivan and Stanley of Melvern, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Veda Kirkwood of Windsor and several grandchildren.
