Edith L. (Cooper) Brady passed away on February 25, 2004, at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She was born in Harman, West Virginia on March 9, 1914 and was graduated by Fairmount Business College, Fairmount, West Virginia. She lived most of her life in Indiana County, Pennsylvania before moving to south Florida in 1989.
She was married to H. Park Brady in 1933. Her husband preceded her in death in 1989 after 55 years of marriage.
Mrs. Brady is survived by two sons and two daughters: Robert and his wife Sandra of Wellington, FL, Vaughn and his wife Mary of Indiana, PA, Betty and her husband Lynn Chesnut of Long Island, NY and Lois and her husband Daniel Phillips of San Francisco, CA. Mrs. Brady has 12 grandchildren: David, Daniel and Drew Brady, Diane Brady Burbank, Deborah Brady McMillen, Christy Brady Janssen, Alison Brady Kinney, Joann Chesnut Domingue, Karen Chesnut Ozkurt, Robert Chesnut, Leslie Phillips, and Jason Phillips. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brady is also survived by two sisters: Louise Garland and Juanita Coffey, both who reside in Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Irene Bouton and Waldo Cooper.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Wellington. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Hospice & Home Care by the Sea, 1531 West Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486.
