Mrs. Tamer Brady Avant, 72, of Atlanta, died Wednesday, June 12, 1968 at her home after a short illness.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Atlanta Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ray Teal officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Survivors include one son, Nathan Avant, Jr., of Hathaway; five brothers, Allen Brady and Roy Brady, both of Montgomery, Ranel Brady of Atlanta, Lavelle Brady of Gibsland, and Alon Brady of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Avant of Atlanta and Mrs. J. A. McLain of Montgomery; and 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
