Elsie Fitzgerald Bradner, 73, of Bassett, died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at Salem Health and Rehab Center in Salem.
She was born Oct. 11, 1929, in Franklin County, a daughter of Nathaniel Fitzgerald and Roxie Lefhew Fitzgerald, both deceased. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Clifton Fitzgerald.
She was a member of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Collinsville.
Surviving are her husband, Percy Bradner of the home; four daughters, Linda Woods of Bassett, Carolyn Jean Durham of Macon, Ga., Vicky Denny of Reidsville, N.C. and Betty Bradner of Bassett; two sons, Wayne Bradner of Callands and Jerry Bradner of Bassett; two brothers, Raymond Fitzgerald of Fork Mountain and Nathan Fitzgerald of Rocky Mount; 15 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amazing Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Hodges officiating. Burial will be in Henry Memorial Park.
