Alice Lee Hazlewood Bradley, 88, of Rich Creek, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the Riverview Nursing Home. Born October 12, 1923, at Lindside, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James L. Hazlewood and Lillie M. Hazlewood. In addition to her husband, the late Eugene R. Bradley, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy B. Huffman; and two brothers, Jack Hazlewood and Howard Hazelwood. Alice was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rich Creek, Va., and the Mary Martha Circle. Survivors include one daughter, Vicky B. Heslep and husband, John, of Forest, Va.; one son, Barry E. Bradley and wife, Karen, of New Castle, Va.; four grandchildren, Mary Turner and husband, Chris, Karen Russ, Courtney Jones and husband, Scott, and Brent Bradley and wife, Kendra; five great- grandchildren, Christopher and Catherine Turner, Victoria and Eric Russ, and Carson Jones; one great- great-granddaughter, Isabella Turner; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, W.Va., with Pastor Rodger Boothe and Gary Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Rich Creek, Va. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2011, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, 108 Old Virginia Ave., Rich Creek, VA 24147. Arrangements by Broyles Shrewsbury Funeral Home, Peterstown, W.Va.
