Earle "Bo" Francis Bradley
October 28, 1930
September 23, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Reno
Bo was born in Chicago, IL. He moved to Brentwood, CA with his parents, Earle Sr. and Eileen and brother, Bobby when he was 17. He graduated from Loyola University with a degree in English Literature. He entered the Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant in 1954 and was stationed in Germany. After serving, he worked for KTLA TV in L.A. as a Publicist, and before retirement, Cal Fed Savings as a Loan Officer. Bo also worked for Ventura County as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor for 15 years prior to moving to Reno. He was a Master Gardner, and loved to spend hours with his Bonsai's.
Bo was a proud and devoted member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 33 years and he deeply valued his friends he made through the program. Everyone who knew him loved him for his kindness, sense of humor, generosity of spirit, and knowledge of just about everything.
Bo is survived by his wife Diane, his 4 children and their families.
A Memorial will be held Sunday, October 14th, 2012 in the Bordeaux Room at the Eldorado Hotel, 345 N. Virginia Street, from 10:00 AM to noon. Please join us for a celebration of Bo's life. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Reno Veteran's Guest House, 880 Locust St., Reno, NV 89502.
