Frankfort-Merrill Scott "Scotty" Bradley, 79, died Friday, October 26th in Frankfort. He and his wife, Clayton were the originators, owners and operators of Scotty's Pink Pig Bar-B-Q that began in 1958 with their tenure ending in 1993. Scotty always said, "Our customers were the greatest and we are so fortunate to have such a following". He retired to the farm where he enjoyed his Simmental and Angus cattle. He was a member of the Bridgeport Christian Church and a lifelong resident of Franklin County.

Scotty is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Clayton Elizabeth Bradley of Frankfort; his son, Randall (Becky) S. Bradley of Shelbyville; his grandson, Justin (Tammy) S. Bradley of Frankfort; and three great grandchildren, Aaron, Clara and Lauren; his brother, Eugene (Vivian) Bradley of Frankfort; his sister, Elaine Barton of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker Edmond Bradley and Elsie Bain Bradley Goodrich and a brother, Raymond Howard Bradley.

Pallbearers will be Justin Bradley, Mark Bradley, Tim Harrod, Dorman Harrod, Bob Walter and David Chisley.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel and conducted by Reverend Phil Case and Reverend Keith McAliley with burial in the Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Franklin County Women's Shelter, P.O. Box 4166, Frankfort, Ky 40604.
