In 1940, she married Gerard Bradford Jr., who served in World War II as a Navy pilot and subsequently as an airline pilot for Trans World Airlines. Captain Bradford passed away in 2002.
A devoted wife and moth, she is survived by four of her six children, Gerard Baradford III (Pete) and his wife Linda of Kailua, Hawaii, Nancy Bradford of Joly, Wil Bradford and his wife Deetsie and Betsy Bradford Cooley and her husband Jeff, all of Lyme/Old Lyme, Conn. Beverly possessed great personal charm and exceptional courage. She lived life as much as she played bridge, with infectious joy and a fearless enthusiasm. A woman who always put her family first, her warmth, humor and joy of life will be sorely missed.
