Harland Beverly 'Brad' Bradford, 62, of Austin, TX, former long time resident of Jacksonville, FL, died Friday, June 22, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Smith Bradford, Austin, TX; daughter, Darby Bradford Larkin, Sarasota, FL; daughter, Heather Bradford, Jacksonville, FL; granddaughters, Kelly and Casey Larkin, Sarasota, FL; and granddaughter, Emily Brooke Utter, Jacksonville, FL; sisters Naomi Bradford and Pat Lowe. Born in Jacksonville, FL, Brad attended the University of Florida, 195658, and graduated from Stetson University in 1962. He served as a captain in the US Army in Germany. He was the Director of Customer Relations for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida in Jacksonville before retiring and relocating to Austin. He was an avid supporter of the Florida Gators, serving as President of the Lone Star Gator Club and Regional Vice President and Board of Directors of the University of Florida Alumni Association. Remains to be cremated. Memorial services in Austin and Jacksonville are pending. Please send donations to the Lone Star Gator Club Scholarship Fund (P.O. Box 50107, Austin 78763) in lieu of flowers.
