A. R. Boysen, Son of Richard and Alvina (Christensen) Boysen.
During his early youth he helped his father in the Construction business.
He had three children by his first wife. They are Betty, Dick and James.
In 1942 "Nig" was elected Madison County Clerk and Took office in 1943. He served as County Clerk for twenty-three years until he retired in 1966.
His second wife was Marguerite Reikofski whom he married at Madison. She was a widow with a small Son to raise.
After retiring from the courthouse, Nig suffered from a stroke and was bedfast for many weeks.
He died in July at age 71.
