Funeral services for Shayne Boyles, 25, of Waynesboro, were held Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, from the Trinity First Baptist Church in Wayne County's Beat Four area, with the Rev. Brad Nicholson and the Rev. Joe Holder officiating.
Interment was in the Boyles Chapel Cemetery in Wayne County.
Born May 7, 1983, and a native of Waynesboro, Boyles worked an an equipment operator doing bulldozing work. He was a member of Wayne County's Beat Four Volunteer Fire Department, and Wayne County Rescue and React Department.
He died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Wayne General Hospital inWaynesboro.
Survivors include his mother, Benita Boyles of Waynesboro; his father, Anthony Boyles of Waynesboro; his grandmother, Darline Hutto of Waynesboro; his grandfather, Adren Boyles of Waynesboro; a sister, Lottie Boyles of Waynesboro; and four aunts, Sue Wells and husband Allan of Waynesboro, Lou Boyles of Petal, Charlotte Dunnam and husband Otis of Avery, and Joan Gunner of Hattiesburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary E. Boyles; and his grandfather, Clinton Walters.
Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
