Alvin was a WWII Vet and was retired from NWSC Crane, IN. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He had one sister who preceded him in death and he had four brothers. He was also preceded in death by a son, William Grady Boyles. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Wheeler Boyles who he married in 1946; and two daughters, Barbara Ann Boyles Flynn and Sheila Elaine Boyles Franklin.
