Bess Barsh, 77, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Bess was born in Wayne County to the late William Henry Boyette and Elizabeth Dail Boyette.She had worked as a counselor with Weight Watchers for more than 30 years and as a consultant with BeautiControl for more than 20 years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Fulkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Bess is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earnie Barsh; daughters, Emily Barsh and Mamie Barsh; grandchildren, Brandie McCullen, Stuart Harris and Lauren Barsh; and a great-granddaughter, Courteney McCullen.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Ashley Barsh.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
