Margaret Louella Long Boyers, 71, of Route 1,
Mount Crawford, died Sunday evening at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since Friday.
She was born July 19, 1918, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Station A. and Alma Armentrout Long.
Mrs. Boyers had worked at the former Daley Brothers Shoe Factory in Harrisonburg and was a member of the New Hope Christian Church.
On March 8, 1937, she married Claude W. Boyers, who survives.
Also surviving are three brothers, Leonard L., Howard D. and Ivan L. Long, all of Harrisonburg, and three sisters, Catherine L. Sipe of Harrisonburg, Theresa L. Sipe of Silver Spring, Md., and Bessie L. Kline of Harrisonburg.
The funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Harrisonburg by Dr. Arnold B. Poole. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home.
