The child died Thursday evening (Sept. 24) at University Hospital in Charlottesville, where he had been a patient since his birth Aug. 7 in Harrisonburg.
Surviving besides his father, who works at Tip Top Fruit Farm, and his mother, are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira B. Boyers of Rt. 10, Harrisonburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Homer L. Howdyshell of Dayton; and a great-grandmother, Ollie Virginia McDorman of Hinton.
The body is at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home. The casket will be closed.
