She was born August 6, 1945. Danita married the late Ray M. Alvarado on February 1, 1962 in Imperial.
Danita was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; parents, Jasper Boyer and Anna Mae Horne; stepdad, Leonard Horne and brother, Gene Ivan Boyer.
Danita is survived by her sons, Ray Alvarado and Lisa Sigrest of San Diego, James and Melissa Alvarado of Imperial and Steven Alvarado of Imperial; daughter, Denise Alvarado and Joseph Labare of Imperial; sister, Sandy and Charles Benefield of El Centro; brother, Tim Allen of El Centro; grandchildren, Rihanna, Ryan and Rachel Alvarado, Melissa Ann "Alvarado", Aliza Labare, Sierra Sigrest and Jonathan and Jacob Armstrong; 1 great-grandchild, Nikko Raynes Yanez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the home of Danita Alvarado on Friday, January 18 from 6 to 9 p.m.
A Celebration of Danita's life will be held Saturday, January 19th at 3 p.m. at the home of her sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
