JEAN LOUISE BARNES, 83, formerly of Anderson, IN died Monday, July 25, 2005. She was born October 7, 1921, in Franklin, PA, a daughter of George Milton and Mary Martha McCracken Boyer. Mrs. Barnes lived in San Diego County for 36 years. She was an organist at Valley Center Community Church. Her sister, Zylva Estella Boyer Revelant preceded Mrs. Barnes in death on December 27, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leon Dodds Barnes, of Escondido, to whom she was married on June 26, 1938, in Franklin; daughter Rosa Lee (Thea) Matlock of Oceanside; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Louis Revelant of Hermitage, PA, and Lewis and Myra Barnes of Bradford, PA; grandson Richard Lee Matlock (wife Rachell); a foster granddaughter, Judy Keeper; and three great-grandchildren: William, Alicia and Joshua Matlock. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 29, at McLeod Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. John Sale officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. The family suggests donations to the Pruitt Memorial Fund, 605 N. Wentworth, Tucson, AZ 85748. McLeod Mortuary is handling arrangements.
