Doris E. Boyer, age 84, of Turners Station died Monday, March 11, 2002 at Tri-County Baptist Hospital, LaGrange. She was a native of Henry County, the daughter of the late William Ballard and Margaret Belle Hunpston Elston, a homemaker and member of Turners Station Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Robert E. Boyer, Lynn Haven, Florida; Three daughters: Peggy Boyer Self, Crestwood; Pamela Dean Ball, Campbellsburg and Margaret "Midge" Cox, Pendleton; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brent Boyer and one son, Marion Ballard Boyer.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday March 13) at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg. Rev. Carl Rucker will officiate. Interment will be in Port Royal Cemetery.
