Ind., village of Campbellsburg ; m. Nov. 20, 1853, in Perkins-
ville, Ind., Maria E. Preston, b. in Beekman, N. Y. In 1859
he located in Hudson, Wis., and began business as a druggist,
which he still continues. During this period he has been
an active force in the community, and rendered services as
County Supervisor, repeatedly as Alderman, once as Mayor,
and member of the Assembly two terms, from 1874 to 1876,
