Miss Ada Mahala Boyd, who served as clerk of the Christian County draft board during World War II, died at 2 a.m. today at her home, 330 North Main Street.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Fuqua Funeral Home. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Sidney M. Maddox, of First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Miss Boyd, a native of Trigg County, attended Christian County schools and Bowling Green Business College. She retired from work with the Selective Service System here in 1945.
She was the daughter of the late George H and Elizabeth Cox Boyd.
Surviving are two sisters, Miss Fannie A Boyd, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Myrtle (Albert H.) Newell, of Mooreland Drive. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
