Funeral services for Robert Boyd, age 70, of Westmoreland, and formerly of Lafayette, TN, were conducted Monday, October 31, 2005 t 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Brother Steve Waller officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Robert passed away Saturday morning, October 29, 2005 at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.
A native of West Virginia, he was the son of the late Emmett & Carrie Crawford Boyd. He was married to Barbara See Boyd on May 9, 1962 who survives. He was a member of the Kempville Old Time Methodist Church in Smith County, TN. He was an employee with G.F. Office Furniture in Gallatin and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
