DIES WHILE WIFE CALLS AMBULANCE
Benjamin Lester Boyd, 56, carpenter, of 833 Dorlan Ave., died at 4:45 p.m. yesterday at his residence from a heart attack. He had been ill all day and his wife, Bertha, was telephoning for an ambulance at the time of his death.
Mr. Boyd was born in Kentucky and had lived in Springfield for the last 15 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a nephew, Clarence Boyd, of Granite City.
